Angus McDonald has worked as a photojournalist in Australia and Asia for over fifteen years. A self-taught writer and photographer, his articles and photos have appeared in leading newspapers and magazines throughout the English speaking world. He is the author of The Five Foot Road: In Search of a Vanished China, published by HarperCollins Australia in 1995. From 2003 until 2007 Angus was based in New Delhi, India, during which time he undertook assignments throughout the South and Central Asia region, as well as in China. He is now based in Melbourne, Australia, and is completing his second book.
